We adopted our sweet Willow in December of 2023 from Bruiser Bulldogs after losing our frenchie due to severe health issues. We did lots and lots of research and one of the things we noticed was the love and care Erica and Mitch put into each one of their bulldogs and their litters, and their dedication to maintaining healthy happy bulldogs was enough for us to call. Here we are almost 2 years later and she’s the funniest, sweetest, athletic, most loyal, and more importantly, the HEALTHIEST bulldog we’ve ever met. Our vet has even said she’s never seen a healthier, cleaner English bulldog in all her years. We can’t wait to adopt our next one. 10/10, if you’re looking for a new addition to your family, Bruiser Bulldogs is the only way to go.

Bruiser Bulldogs breeds a well balanced bulldog with best breathing, hips and size. An overall healthy structure helps Bruiser Bulldogs enjoy their lives almost as much as we owners enjoy them. Owner of many over the years, our Johnny Legend is remarkably special.

Getting my Mason from Bruiser Bulldogs was one of the best decisions we've ever made! From the very beginning, the experience was professional, caring, and full of support. Our pup is not only adorable but also incredibly well-socialized, healthy, and full of personality. You can tell Bruiser Bulldogs puts real love and attention into their breeding program.
They were transparent, helpful, and answered all of our questions along the way. It’s clear they truly care about the well-being of their dogs—not just while they’re in their care, but for their whole lives.
Our bulldog has brought so much joy to our home and we constantly get compliments on how beautiful and sweet he is. If you're looking for a reputable, ethical, and loving breeder, we highly recommend Bruiser Bulldogs.
Thank you for helping us complete our family!

high quality, healthy bulldog ! Bruiser Bulldog is the Breeder to trust! They are responsible Breeders, who care about the long term health of their bulldogs. Their way of socializing and caring for their puppies is like no other. They exceeded our expectations with the quality of their dogs. Our Rocco who is now 11 and 1/2 has unbelievable temperament , very athletic built and breathing is nothing like any other bulldogs we have owned. He fit right into our lives and was the best addition to our family. We couldn’t be any happier with him!

A Forever Grateful Bulldog Mama
Our sweet girl Rizzo just turned 5, and not a day goes by that I don’t thank Bruiser Bulldogs for bringing her into our lives. From the moment we first connected with them, it was clear that this breeder wasn’t just about dogs, they’re about family.
Rizzo has been everything we hoped for in an English Bulldog — affectionate, loyal, goofy, and full of personality (and yes, snoring included!). She’s incredibly healthy, with strong genetics and a gentle temperament that makes her the perfect mix of cuddly companion and stubborn little queen.
Bruiser Bulldogs provided top-tier care, clear communication, and transparency throughout the adoption process. They truly raise their pups in a loving environment, and it shows in every wrinkle and wiggle of our Rizzo.
If you’re looking for a reputable, compassionate, and responsible bulldog breeder, one who genuinely puts the dogs first, Bruiser Bulldogs is it. Our family is better because of Rizzo, and we’ll forever be proud members of the Bruiser Bulldog family.

For anyone looking for a healthy, athletic, family bulldog, look no further. Bruiser Bulldogs are truly making this breed healthier and not breeding for the overly wrinkly unhealthy look. We have been so impressed with our Stella’s disposition and health and athleticism. Our vet has continued to be impressed with how healthy she is. No breathing issues whatsoever. She lives in Florida with our frenchie, boxer, and Scottish fold and is a great member of the pack. She is truly apart of the family and we couldn’t life without her. We will 100% get another bulldog from bruiser when we are ready for another one.

We have had our Bruiser Bulldog, Jackson for 5 years and he is the picture of health and personality! His breathing is wonderful. He is very athletic and is often mistaken for a puppy! He has no allergies or other common bulldog ailments. He is the best thing to happen to our family and we couldn’t love him more! My mom has his sister who is from the same liter and she is also extremely healthy! I could not recommend Bruiser Bulldogs enough if you want HEALTHY bulldogs! Thank you guys so much!
Gretchen D.
We love our Bruiser Bulldog Josh Allen. He is two and a half years old and loves being active and social. I always get compliments on how healthy and athletic he is. People are shocked when he races around the dog park or runs into Lake Michigan from the beach.
We are a certified dog therapy team and Josh is great with kids at schools. Super calm and doesn’t mind a lot of noise and action.
Highly recommend Bruiser if you have always dreamed of a bulldog like me!

Hey guys, I wanted to thank you again for everything. Meredith has been an amazing addition to our family. She has been so good with being in her create and using the yard to go to the bathroom. Everywhere I bring her people melt over her. Best of all, she loves our kids and makes them so happy. if anyone in my town ever wants a bulldog, we will make sure it's from you guys. We got our sweet babies from Bruisers Bulldogs 5 and 3 years ago. Our vet says they are the healthiest bulldogs he has ever seen. Winston and Gwen have brought nothing but pure joy to our lives since the day they each came home. We love them endlessly.
Jessica B.
We had such an amazing experience at Bruiser Bulldogs! They've been so friendly, responsive and helpful. We love that they breed English Bulls with their health as the main priority, not just their looks, that was the main reason we chose them. And we love our bull so much! He's such a good boy and is so well behaved, most of the time 😉

I knew I wanted an English bulldog but had no experience or knowledge raising one. I am so thankful that in my google search of breeders, I came across Bruiser Bulldogs. In my research of getting to know the breed, I did find how they have so many ailments and a lot of breeders breed for the looks. When I read Bruiser Bulldogs mission of breeding for health, I KNEW they were the right people! We have had our Rosie Posie for a year and a half now and she is just the best. Erica still answers my questions (such as best joint supplements, and so on) and is so kind and gracious. When we first took Rosie to our vet, they said she was the best looking English bulldog they have seen. When they tested her blood, they also said they were amazed by how healthy her blood markers are. I am so grateful to Bruiser bulldogs and their mission. They will be part of our family and will always be who we go to when we get an English bulldog!

Four years ago we got our first bulldog(Bailey-Elizabeth) from Mitch and Erica, they were so wonderful to deal with and so very knowledgeable about the breed. A year later we were blessed with her biological brother(Bentley/Timothy), we haven't had any health issues and our vet raves about how perfect they both are. They were both graduates of Ellie's School of Socialization. We are going to be getting another soon, we just love them so very much. Thank you Bruiser Bulldogs for making our family complete!!🥰Brian and Caroline Donnelly
Stacie F.
We patiently (not really!) waited for our little girl! It’s obvious Mitch and Erica have a passion for this breed, which is why we chose them as a breeder. They made the adoption process very easy and answered all of our questions. We got nothing but great feedback from her first vet visit. We are only 3 weeks in and cannot imagine life without her 💗💕 We wanted a puppy based on personality and Erica was spot on! We are so thankful for Mitch and Erica trusting us with one of their babies.
Charlotte J.
We made the trip from Wisconsin to pick up our puppy and wow, what a journey! Erica spent hours with us explaining each dog's unique traits. Our little guy is now 5 months old and his temperament is spot-on with her predictions. So grateful we found such a responsible breeder.
Leonard C.
We drove all the way from Wisconsin to Indiana and it was absolutely worth every mile! Erica's commitment to ethical breeding shines through in everything she does. Our puppy is healthy, happy, and exactly what we were hoping for. The personal attention was amazing.
Nina C.
Erica's approach to ethical breeding is refreshing! We had our schnauzer delivered to Wisconsin and everything went smoothly. Her personality matching system really works - our dog is exactly the gentle, intelligent companion she promised. The follow-up support has been fantastic too.

Couldn't Be Happier with Our Choice! We had our Duke delivered from Bruiser Bulldogs to our home in Milwaukee, and he's been absolutely amazing! The delivery was professional and Duke arrived as a happy, healthy puppy. He's now 10 months old and thriving in Wisconsin's challenging climate. Despite our freezing winters off Lake Michigan, he breathes perfectly and loves walks along the Milwaukee River. Our Wisconsin vet in the Third Ward is blown away by his health. Erica's ongoing support has been incredible - Bruiser Bulldogs truly cares!

Bruiser Bulldogs Made Our Family Complete! Had our sweet Tank delivered from Bruiser Bulldogs to Kenosha nine months ago. The delivery to Wisconsin was seamless and professional. Tank arrived as a confident, playful puppy who immediately bonded with our kids. He's thriving in Wisconsin - no breathing issues despite our lake effect snow and humidity. He loves playing at Petrifying Springs Park! Erica from Bruiser Bulldogs has been amazing with continued support. Best decision ever!

Thank You Bruiser Bulldogs for Our Amazing Bella! Living in Madison, we researched extensively before choosing Bruiser Bulldogs. We had Bella delivered to our Wisconsin home, and she's been perfect! The delivery was smooth and Bella arrived beautifully socialized. At 8 months old, she's wonderful - breathing freely even during Wisconsin's polar vortex, playing endlessly around the Capitol Square. The continued guidance from Bruiser Bulldogs has been invaluable. Perfect for our Wisconsin lifestyle!

We Love Our Bruiser Bulldogs Baby! We had our Rosie delivered from Bruiser Bulldogs to our home in Racine last year. The entire Wisconsin delivery experience was exceptional - professional service and a perfectly healthy, well-socialized puppy. Rosie is now 13 months old and thriving in Wisconsin. She breathes beautifully, loves playing at North Beach, and handles our Wisconsin winters better than we do! Our Racine vet always comments on her excellent health. We recommend Bruiser Bulldogs to all our Wisconsin friends!

Bruiser Bulldogs is Worth Every Mile! We drove from Green Bay to Indiana to pick up our girl, Luna. The trip from Wisconsin was absolutely worth it to meet the Wysong family and see their incredible breeding program. Luna is now 2 years old and the healthiest bulldog in Wisconsin! Adoption Process for Our Wisconsin Adopters
Through years of experience we have developed a tried and true adoption process devoted to matching the correct puppy with their adopter family. We are strong advocates of thoroughly understanding the adopter family dynamic and preferences and guiding each family in the selection process. Successful adoptions are never accidents and ensuring the bulldog puppy and their family are compatible matches is essential.
Steps of Our Adoption Process
1. First Email and Then Verbal Interview – Standard adoption questionnaires have served as the typical practice for dog breeders when assessing potential adopters, but we’ve come to understand their weaknesses through years of experience. Most individuals seeking adoption, whether actually suitable or not, can easily formulate the “right” answers on paper. Proper assessment calls for a more individualized approach that extends beyond what any predetermined questionnaire can deliver. This is the reason why, as respected English Bulldog breeders, we value genuine telephone exchanges with our prospective families. During our exchange, we’ll explore topics such as your daily lifestyle, family atmosphere, past pet ownership, and what you’re looking for in a furry friend to gauge whether one of our Bruiser Bulldogs would prosper in your household.
2. Deposit – We require a non-refundable $500 deposit to join our wait list for the next English Bulldog puppy available.
3. Choosing your English Bulldog Puppy – When an adopter reaches the top of our wait list, we initiate the puppy selection process. Before making any decisions, we’ll provide photos of all available English Bulldog puppies along with detailed phone discussions about each pup’s unique temperament and characteristics (our personality assessment process is outlined below). We’ll guide you through each prospective companion’s special traits, behavioral patterns, and individual quirks, ensuring you understand their compatibility with your lifestyle. While the final choice rests completely with your family, we’re committed to supplying knowledgeable advice and support to build your selection confidence.
*English Bulldog Puppy Personality Assessment – Creating lifelong bonds between bulldogs and their forever families requires detailed analysis of each puppy’s unique behavioral profile and personality development. We conduct thorough temperament assessments through structured observation sessions, identifying individual characteristics and compatibility factors. This comprehensive evaluation process cannot be rushed and requires puppies to reach 4-5 weeks of age before we can accurately assess their distinct personalities. While some adopters prefer to select their puppy as early as 2 weeks old, we respectfully decline these requests. Early selection without proper temperament evaluation is counterproductive and can lead to mismatched pairings, as adopters would be choosing their English Bulldog companion without understanding their future pet’s true nature and needs.
4. Puppy Prep – Once we have matched an adopter to one of our English Bulldog puppies, we transition to puppy prep and training. Each adopter receives support training and puppy prep information focused on how to best transition and care for their new bulldog puppy. For our Wisconsin adopters, many choose to use our puppy nanny service, where a member of our family will fly with your pup to General Mitchell International Airport, Dane County Regional Airport, or your nearest airport. Other adopters choose to fly to our home to pick up. We support either option. While we love to see our bulldog adopters in person, we also understand busy schedules and can discuss the best fit through a phone call.
