Dr. David Hargarten, DVM – Serves at Auburn Hills Animal hospital.  Dr. Hargarten completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University. Originally from northwest Indiana, He spent nine years at Purdue, earning a Bachelor’s in Biology, a Master’s in Meat Science, and his DVM. Dr. Hargarten brings both large and small animal experience to the table, often providing valuable insights not readily available to those only involved in the canine world.

Dr. Thomas Hitzeman, DMV – Dr. Thomas Hitzeman, DVM earned both his Bachelor’s in Animal Science and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University, completing his studies in 2013. A native of Auburn, his passion for veterinary medicine began early, leading him to volunteer at Auburn Hills Animal Hospital during high school.  Dr. Hitzeman serves as one of our primary resources for veterinary advice.  His expertise in bulldog reproduction and medical care are outstanding.

Dr. Hilary Christner, DMV –  Dr. Christner received her B.S. degree in Animal Sciences from Purdue University and earned her D.V.M. from Ross University in 2007. In February of 2021, Dr. Hilary was announced as the President of the Indiana Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Hilary has been a long standing source of veterinary wisdom and practical breeding advice.  She is well versed in managing successful breeding programs and has been instrumental in providing cutting edge information on animal welfare and best practices.
