Steps of Our Adoption Process
1. First Email and Then Verbal Interview – While adoption questionnaires have been the standard practice for ethical dog breeders to evaluate prospective adopters, we’ve learned about their boundaries over the years. Most candidates, regardless of how well-suited they might be, can comfortably supply the “expected” answers on paper. 2. Deposit – We require a non-refundable $500 deposit to join our wait list for the next English Bulldog puppy available.
3. Choosing your English Bulldog Puppy – When an adopter reaches the top of our wait list, we initiate the puppy selection process. Before making any decisions, we’ll provide photos of all available English Bulldog puppies along with detailed phone discussions about each pup’s unique temperament and characteristics (our personality assessment process is outlined below). We’ll explain each potential puppy’s distinctive personality features, preferences, and special qualities, helping you assess how they align with your family routine. Although your household maintains complete authority over the decision, we pledge to provide expert guidance and recommendations throughout this important selection journey.
*English Bulldog Puppy Personality Assessment – Creating perfect partnerships between bulldogs and their forever families requires detailed analysis of each puppy’s distinct personality and temperament profile. Our evaluation process includes extensive behavioral assessment, careful observation of social dynamics, and thorough documentation of individual traits. This comprehensive evaluation process cannot be rushed and requires puppies to reach 4-5 weeks of age before we can accurately assess their distinct personalities. While some adopters prefer to select their puppy as early as 2 weeks old, we respectfully decline these requests. Yes, we offer a puppy delivery service where one of our family members personally delivers to your home. We follow all state and USDA regulated transportation standards to safely deliver your pup to you.
Yes, we absolutely love when adopters pick up in person. We will go over your puppy package and make sure you are completely comfortable when you are at our house.
We are able to drive to any city in New Jersey. These include Newark, Jersey City, Paterson, Elizabeth, and Lakewood. If you are an adopter located near New Jersey we can accommodate delivery to you.
We require a deposit to join our waitlist or to reserve a specific bulldog pup. Final payment is made at pickup or delivery.
Adopter Support Questions
All of our puppies are vet checked at Auburn Hills Animal Hospital or Lagrange Vet Clinic here in Indiana. We register all of our pups through the AKC purebred registry. We are active “Bred With Heart” AKC awarded breeders, we follow all state and USDA protocol for safely transporting and delivering our puppies.
Upon arrival, we will personally check up with a phone call and go over the care package and puppy manual. If you have any questions – we pride ourselves in supporting our adopters with any bulldog related advice. We want to make sure you are completely comfortable with the care of your puppy.
